Tell Littlebird once how you want a task done, and it does it that way every time.
A skill is how you want one task done, written down once. Your weekly report, your meeting prep, your standup update. When you ask for that task, Littlebird follows your steps instead of guessing them.
You’ll find them under Plugins in the sidebar, next to the ones that come built in.
Make one
Click New skill on the Plugins page, or just ask in chat:
Littlebird asks what the skill should do and when to use it, then saves it. Two things matter:
- When to use. The words you’d actually say, like “weekly report” or “week in review”. This is how Littlebird decides the skill applies to what you just asked.
- Instructions. The steps, as you’d explain them to a new teammate.
Use one
Ask the way you normally would. If it matches a skill, Littlebird follows it. To run one on purpose, type / in the chat box and pick it.
If it doesn’t run
Open the skill and make “when to use” say the words you type. “Formats a report” won’t match; “the user asks for a weekly report” will.
